4 Months Old

Julian is 4 months old now... and the time is flying by, I feel like I just had him a week ago. He is now rolling over in both directions and rolling off his play mat daily. He seems to like playing on his tummy the most and is starting to stick his booty up in the air. It looks like he wants to crawl but is not fully there yet. He now weighs 14.25 pounds and is 26 inches long. He had a major growth spurt from his last doctors appointment. He is now wearing 6 months clothes and is almost in a size 2 diaper. He has been sleeping 6-7 hours straight in the first part of the night and then a couple times after that for feedings. He wakes up happy and cooing in the mornings. His favorite thing is to have farting noises (aka raspberries) blown on his belly, he starts cracking up. His laugh is the best sound ever!

Damask

I have been slacking on writing my blog but I had to share these photos. I just love damask!

Mother's Day 2012

I had the best first Mother's Day. Abdiel took Julian in the morning so that I could sleep in. While playing together Julian had a huge explosion out of his diaper and onto his dad, it was the first time Julian pooped on someone. I think it traumatized Dad but made me laugh so much! We started celebrating our day by having carrot cake for breakfast (calories do not count on mother's day). We headed off to the Wild Animal Park which is now called the Zoo Safari Park... but to me it will always be the Wild Animal Park. I thought that there would be a lot of people but it was dead, it was so nice. Julian was so good he just sat in his stroller and was talking up a storm the entire time. We spent a couple hours there and then headed back home.
We tried out a new local restaurant on our way home it is called The Habit it was pretty good.
Once we were home Dad again took Julian and I took a nap. It was so great to catch up on some rest. I feel like a whole new woman! We spent the remainder of the day just hanging out and watching crap TV. It was such a amazing day! Oh and Abdiel totally hooked it up; he got me a new camera! I cannot wait to start using it... more photos to come :-)~
Last week we did a Mother's Day craft. We made hand prints for the Grandmas, Cousin Claire {with her kids handprints}, and myself. Here is a finished photo of the one I kept.
I used this recipe that I found online. It was super easy to do. I highly recommend this recipe.
I have not been blogging lately because we have been working on the house. We are trying to get everything ready for Julian's Baptism. We have a honey do list a mile long. Abdiel last weekend painted our front fence and started prepping the back fence.
Julian was helping dad work
I have been also helping my friend Tess with wedding crafts. Here are some photos of the recent things we have completed.

Random Stuff

Ice Box Cake
This recipe was super easy and so good! I modified it and made mine in small cups but it is pretty much the same thing. The hardest part was finding the correct cookies. I had to go to four different stores but it was worth it. I will be making these again soon.

When leaving the house last week. I found my neighbors car looking like this --------------------->
so of course I had to take pictures!
This is how we pay our babysitter (my mom), with breakfast and baby in the Bumbo.
Side note; Trader Joe's cookie butter is the best thing ever! If you have not had it I suggest you go out and get it, it is AMAZING!

Mondays projects:
I have noticed since being home during the day we get a bunch of people coming to the door. I saw this cool sign on Pinterest so I decided to do one for my house. Here is mine and below it is the link for free printable signs :-)

While sprucing and cleaning up my front window I decided that we needed house numbers since we don't have any (they didn't come with the house). I cut out some vinyl numbers on my machine here is what it looks like finished, you can also see my new sign. I know I am a nerd!

First Communion Bag

My Goddaughter/Niece Grace is making her First Communion this upcoming weekend. I wanted to do something extra special for her especially because I cannot be there. I decided that I wanted to give her a piece of my wedding gown. I was already planning to cut into my gown to make Julians Baptismal gown. So this past weekend I made my first cut and completed Graces First Communion bag.
This was my dress before... I had to take "One last picture"
